What to check and why
Use Android App info to inspect the device's installed application record. Use COME Settings to initiate or read its update check. These screens can show different kinds of text because they answer different questions. A build identifier and a status message should not be compared as though both were version numbers.
Record actual identifiers where each is available. If the offer and installation differ, read the release information before choosing to update. If one screen provides only Latest Version, do not fill in an identifier from memory. The useful report says which version field was visible and which update action or status appeared, without inventing a contradiction.
